Just over 100 days after Newcastle United defeated Liverpool at Wembley Stadium, the Carabao Cup starts again today with its first round draw.
Championship, League One and League Two clubs all find their complete fixture lists on Thursday, 26 June. Hours after the league schedules are released, the Carabao Cup and Vertu Trophy draws happen.
The latter is for Leagues One and Two, but for the first time, only 70 of the 72 teams in the EFL will feature in the first round. Those two that do not will go out in the preliminary round, which pits Accrington Stanley against Oldham Athletic, while Barnet face Newport County.
