There is great news for the youth looking for government jobs in Bihar. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Section Officer (ASO). If you are a graduate and want to go to government service, then this opportunity can be special for you. A total of 41 posts will be filled under the recruitment.
When will the applications start?
The process of online application for BPSC ASO Recruitment 2025 will start from 29th May 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The last date to fill the form has been fixed as 23rd June 2025. Therefore, candidates are advised not to wait for the last date and complete the application on time.
Essential Qualification
Candidates applying for these posts should have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Age Limit
Talking about the age limit of the candidates applying, the minimum age is 21 years. The maximum age has been fixed at 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. At the same time, candidates of reserved category will be given age relaxation as per the rules.
What is the application fee?
Candidates have to deposit the application fee. The fee for General, OBC, and other state candidates is Rs 600. While the fee for SC, ST, women (only of Bihar), and Divyang candidates has been kept at Rs 150. The fee can be paid through online mode.
How will the selection be done?
The selection of candidates for these posts will be based on the preliminary examination (Prelims) and main examination (Mains). Candidates who are successful in the pre-examination will be called for the main examination. The final selection will be based on the performance in both these examinations.
