"Jab tak fine na ho”: Video of father letting son pee on Delhi Metro tracks goes viral

Send Push
A recent video has sparked public outrage after a child was seen urinating on the tracks at Delhi’s Inderlok Metro Station, accompanied by his father.

The widely shared footage shows the father standing beside his son as the child urinates on the tracks. A bystander films the scene, seemingly to highlight the lack of civic sense. “Inhe koi sharam nahi aa rahi. Public space mein, Inderlok metro station pe, ye apne bachche ko susu karwa rahe hain,” says the person recording, showing both the metro station signage and the act. The video was shared by X handle @TazaTamacha.

As the situation unfolds, another man, likely a DMRC employee, approaches the father and asks him to stop. The father appears to mumble a response before walking away with his son. The person filming continues, calling them “The most uncivilised people of India.”

The clip has reignited debates about civic sense in the country, with many expressing concern over public behavior and hygiene. Some viewers pointed out that education does not necessarily guarantee civic responsibility.

The father faced widespread criticism for normalizing public urination in front of his child. One commenter remarked, "These same people will blame govt and country for not keeping clean." Another added, "Why he is not penalised, samjhane se log nahi darte jab tak 10-20 hzar ka chalan na ho !"

The incident has become a flashpoint in discussions about public conduct, personal responsibility, and the role of parenting in instilling civic values.
