Indian Railways on Tuesday launched ‘RailOne’, a new super app designed to serve as a one-stop platform for all railway-related queries and passenger needs. The app aims to enhance convenience by integrating multiple services into a single interface.
The new RailOne app will host all passenger services in one app - booking IRCTC reserved, unreserved and platform tickets, tracking PNR and train status, coach position, Rail Madad and travel feedback, sources told TOI.
Indian Railways’ RailOne App: What you should know
The RailOne app's primary focus is delivering an enhanced user experience through a straightforward and uncluttered interface. It consolidates all railway services in one location whilst incorporating various service integrations to provide users with comprehensive Indian Railway functionalities. The new RailOne app is accessible for download on both Android PlayStore and iOS App Store platforms. A distinctive feature is the single-sign-on capability, eliminating the need to remember multiple passwords. Users can register using their existing RailConnect or UTSonMobile credentials upon installation. Additionally, users no longer need separate applications for different Indian Railway services, effectively reducing device storage requirements. The application includes R-Wallet (Railway e-wallet) functionality. Users can access their accounts through simple numeric mPIN and biometric login options. New users benefit from a streamlined registration process requiring minimal information. For enquiries, guest access is available through mobile number/OTP verification.
