A woman who simply went to enjoy a sweet dessert on her outing at Clementi mall, shook up on finiding tiny plastic pieces in her dish which she claimed, she atleast swallowed one. The woman then complained the shop runners and asked the staff to check their durian purée, which reportedly turned up more pieces of plastic. The woman named, Ms Lin has now prosecuted a legal suit on the dessert chain.
Ms Lin, 35, Mei Heong Yuen Dessert in Clementi Mall with a friend. While having her ice shaved dessert, something hard came off her teeth but she ignored it assuming ice cubes and continued eating. On hard substances repeatedly coming down her teeth she then found out that it's actually plastic pieces.
Fierce Ms Lin complained about the same to the store staff. The staff though was not of any help. Thus she contacted with the company's headquarters. The company representative denied the claims and suggested a replacement or refund. Ms Lin refused the offer and made employees present at the store to check the dessert.

Legal Action By Ms Lin
Ms Lin has reportedly filed a lawsuit asking $16,000 In Compensation. However, the company could not agree to the request and termed it as 'unacceptable'. When asked about the compensation request, Ms Lin said that the store did take the initiative to offer compensation. Reportedly, she felt fine after the incident but still worried about the consequences it might cause later.
