JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025: Today, June 25, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the results of the second round of seat allocation for admission to seats at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and National Institute of Technology (NIT). Candidates can check the JoSAA round 2 seat allocation result on josaa.nic.in after it is announced at 5 p.m.
To view the JoSAA round 2 allotment result 2025, candidates must use their Joint Entrance Examination Main or JEE Main 2025 application number and password.

JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025: Steps to check allotment result
Step 1: Visit josaa.nic.in, the official website.
Step 2: Click on the "Round 2 Seat Allotment Result" link located beneath the candidate activity board on the main page.
Step 3: Enter the security pin, password, and JEE Main 2025 application number.
Step 4: After submitting, the screen will show your allocation result.
Step 5: Download and print the allocation order if you choose to do so.
JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025: What to do?
Float: Selecting this option indicates that the applicant accepts the seat that has been given and agrees to be considered for admission in later rounds to any Institute's higher-preference academic program. The candidate will proceed with the approved academic program if no higher preference is given. Candidates who choose to "Float" will be taken into account for subsequent JoSAA 2025 rounds.
Slide: By choosing "Slide," a candidate accepts the provided seat and indicates that they are amenable to being assigned to a more prestigious academic program within the same Institute in subsequent seat allocation rounds. Candidates who select "Slide" will also be taken into account for JoSAA 2025's later rounds.
