Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Since the monsoon became active, heavy rains have been continuing in Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, there was rain in more than 25 districts including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior-Ujjain. Similar weather will continue on Monday as well.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in 20 districts across the state, indicating possible disruption in daily activities due to downpours.
Bhopal: Sarus Festival Ends On Bhoj Wetland BankAccording to the Meteorological Department, the districts where heavy rains have been warned on Monday include Gwalior, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Sagar, Raisen, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Damoh, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Mandla and Balaghat. Up to 4.5 inches of rain has been predicted here in the next 24 hours.
There is also a yellow alert for rain in the remaining districts including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and Jabalpur, suggesting moderate but consistent rainfall.

The Meteorological Department has warned of very heavy or heavy rain in the state on 1 and 2 July.
The effect of the system may be seen less in the districts of Indore and Ujjain divisions, but the effect will be more in Gwalior-Chambal, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Sagar, Bhopal, Rewa and Shahdol divisions.
