TN SSLC Class 10th Results 2025: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) announced the Tamil Nadu SSLC results. Along with the TN Class 10 Results 2025, the board is also expected to announce the merit list, top-performing districts, subject-wise results and other important details.
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has announced the Class 10 SSLC Board Exam results for 2025 with an overall pass percentage of 93.80%. Girls once again performed better than boys, with a pass percentage of 95.88%, and 91.74% for boys. 4,917 schools have a perfect 100% pass rate this year. Impressively, 10,838 students got full marks in the Science subject, indicating good performance in that subject.
The Tamil Nadu SSLC 2025 exams took place between March 28 and April 15, while the practical exams were conducted earlier between February 22 and 28. Students will have to enter their roll number and date of birth as indicated on their SSLC admit card in order to check their results.
After release, the TN SSLC 2025 result will be published online in the form of a provisional marksheet. Subject-wise marks, overall scores, and qualifying status of the student will be indicated on the online marksheet. However, students are required to take their official hard copy of the mark sheet from their schools a couple of days after the result release.
The TN SSLC 2025 scorecard will bear major information like the name of the student, name of the school, registration number, date of birth, individual subject marks, total marks, division, and pass/fail status.
For appearing in the SSLC board exams, candidates have to secure a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. This is inclusive of a minimum of 20 out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in practicals.
For students who fail in one or more subjects or seek better marks, the supplementary exams provide a second opportunity. Information about the supplementary exam dates and application procedure will be released after the announcement of results.
