Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Monday made a strong pitch for inclusive development and gender equality, calling for greater support for rural women and the transgender community.
She was addressing the inaugural session of a women’s leadership conference titled "Breaking Barriers. Women in Leadership and Entrepreneurship", organised by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce at Hotel Taj, Lucknow.
