A case of rape of a minor tribal girl has come to light in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. It is alleged that the police delayed filing the complaint for four days and released the accused after taking him into custody. The victim has pleaded for justice at the SP office.

A case of rape of a minor tribal girl has come to light in the Naudihva outpost area of Singrauli Garhwa police station in Madhya Pradesh. It is alleged that she had to wait for four days to register the case. The local police kept procrastinating. According to the victim, initially the police had detained the accused, but released him from the police station itself. Troubled by the threats of the accused, the minor reached the Superintendent of Police office with her family and pleaded for justice.
The victim alleges that she was returning from Prayagraj with her grandmother. On the way, the accused Parmeshwar Jaiswal, who was coming in a pickup, made her sit in his car, saying that he would drop her home. When she reached near the Tamai forest at 10 pm, the accused stopped the pickup there saying that the diesel in the car had run out.
He was sent to get diesel after paying 300 rupeesHe gave Rs. 300 to the victim's grandmother and sent her to buy diesel. As soon as the grandmother left, the accused started molesting her in the car. When she got down from the car out of fear, the accused raped her forcefully. After this, the victim told the whole incident to her grandmother.
The victim's acquaintances talked to the Naudihva police post. But the policemen posted there refused to let her come to the police post because the in-charge was on leave. After this, on June 30, the victim reached the police post with her family, from where she was sent to Garhwa police station. Here, after the complaint, the police registered a case.
The victim said that after the complaint, the police kept the accused in the police station for two days, but then released him. Now the accused Parmeshwar Jaiswal is pressuring her to settle the matter and threatening to kill her.
The rape victim reached the Superintendent of Police office with her family, she looked helpless and helpless. After arresting the accused, the police released him. For the last 2 days, the accused has been coming to her house and threatening to take back the cash and also to kill her.
ASP said he will be arrested soonThe victim said that she and her family met the ASP. He has assured that the accused will be arrested soon. But the question is why did the police release the accused after arresting him. The police should clarify the reason behind releasing him. The police should also take necessary steps to ensure the safety of the victim.
