Brooklyn Beckham seemingly extended an olive branch to his family with his birthday tribute to his grandfather, Ted.The aspiring chef took to his Instagram Stories to share a picture of himself and David Beckham's dad suited and booted at a lavish event as they posed for the camera.
In the snap, Brooklyn had his arm on Ted's shoulder. He wrote in the caption: "Happy birthday granddad. xx I love you," along with two red heart emojis. Brooklyn snubbed most of his family member's recent birthdays but made sure to pay tribute to his little sister, Harper Seven, when she turned 14 this month.

Harper is the baby of the family, doted on by her parents, as well as her older brothers - Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, and 20-year-old Cruz.
Brooklyn marked his little sister's birthday by posting a photo of him and wife Nicola with Harper to his stories with the caption: "Happy Birthday Harper. We love you x." However, he wasn't there for the birthday celebrations.
The former aspiring photographer snubbed his mother Victoria's 51st birthday and his father David's milestone 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year.
He also failed to congratulate his footballer dad when he was named in the King's Birthday Honours List and became a Sir. Sources close to Brooklyn claimed he isn't ready to make up with the rest of his family. A source told The Sun: "There is too much water under the bridge."
Explaining the reasoningbehind Brooklyn sharing the picture of him with Harper, they added: "Brooklyn and Harper were always incredibly close. He adores her and so does his wife Nicola. They have an incredibly close bond and despite everything that has gone on, Brooklyn idolises her.
"He wanted to put out a message on social media for her to show this bond still exists. He wanted this to be about Harper and he wanted to show people how much he and Nicola care about her. Just because they love Harper and want to show their affection, doesn't mean they're trying to make amends with the family."

Brooklyn's post to his grandfather comes after his godfather, Elton John, reportedly helped ease the tensions within the family. The music legend, 78, recently hosted him and his wife Nicola for lunch in Cannes alongside his husband David Furnish.
The gathering took place at the upscale La Guerite beach club, where the group reportedly addressed the strained family dynamics.
“Elton is the showbiz equivalent of Switzerland,” a source said in relation to Elton's peace-keeping attempts. “He’s utterly neutral in this row.”
The insider explained to The Sun: "Elton of old may have relished in taking sides - in this case his young godson, Brooklyn, but two years off his 80th birthday, he’s a man who has seen and done it all. He just wants everyone to be happy.
"There is no side-taking as such, he simply adores his godson, and really has a laugh with Nicola who he thinks has a great sense of humour.”
Elton’s role as godfather is reportedly something he takes seriously. “He wants to look after them in his role as ‘spiritual adviser’ as a godfather,” the source said.
The singer and his partner reportedly think the feud is "terribly sad" and suggested that "life is short" as he urged them to make up.
