Victoria and David Beckham's hope for Harper as Brooklyn and Nicola feud spirals

The family have remained silent about the feud, but recent developments have highlighted the strained relationships, including Brooklyn’s absence from his father’s high-profile 50th birthday celebrations last month. A source close to the couple said that Nicola has succeeded in finally helping Brooklyn “see the emotional abuse and toxic behaviour within his family".

However, an insider close to the Beckhams - who previously described the accusations as “deeply unpleasant and patently untrue” - said it was a “bit rich” for Nicola’s friends to lecture about toxic behaviour.

And now, it has been reported that the Beckhams are hoping Harper's upcoming 14th birthday in July will help heal the rift. The source said to  that the famous couple are hoping the row will be resolved by this summer.

In an old interview conducted before the public became aware of the family rift, Brooklyn shared advice he had given his 13-year-old sister Harper.

“I just tell her, find that one thing that you love and just put your head down, don’t listen to anyone,” he said, adding: “Find that one thing that you love and don’t listen to anyone.”

The Beckhams are said to be particularly affected by the impact this divide may have on Harper, who has long shared a close relationship with both Brooklyn and Nicola.

Peltz frequently referred to Harper as in affectionate posts on Instagram, sharing numerous pictures and praising the teen.

Last week, the rift seemed to have gotten worse when Brooklyn shared a post reaffirming his commitment to Nicola.

“I always choose you baby, you’re the most amazing person in the , me and you forever baby,” he wrote on , in what many interpreted as a message of allegiance to his wife.

Shortly afterwards, Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz, 20, appeared to signal support for their parents.

In a post of his own, he wrote: “I love my family. I love you guys more than anything, mum and dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we are to have you in our lives.”
