It seems as if the Lord himself has come out of the temple to give darshan to his devotees. The most beautiful aspect of this festival is that Lord Jagannath comes closer to his devotees, especially to those who cannot go to the sanctum sanctorum of his temple for some reason. From today, an atmosphere of devotion, love and gaiety will prevail in Puri for seven days, as the Rath Yatra has started.
Lord Jagannath's stay in Gundicha temple
