Recurring UPI autopay transactions like EMI, mutual fund SIP and OTT subscription will now be completed only during non-peak hours. US tariff – Photo : amarujala.com
25% US tariff will now come into effect from August 7.
US President Donald Trump's order to impose a 25% tariff on imports from India will now come into effect from August 7. President Trump issued this order late last night. Earlier, the US tariff was to come into effect from today (August 1). With this, most of the products exported from India to America are bound to get expensive there. It is believed that Indian exporters may get a shock because America is a big buyer of Indian products and if the US tariff increases on goods sent from India, then the citizens there may give preference to goods coming from other countries at a lower tariff rate instead of Indian products.
