Sue Radford's family is known to be Britain's largest - sharing 22 children with her husband Noel and starring together in Channel 5 show 22 Kids and Counting. They are also grandparents to 14 grandchildren of differing ages, and are known to be an extremely close-knit unit, with the Radfords enjoying multiple luxurious holidays together every year; however, in the past week, fans have been left concerned as three of the reality stars' grandchildren have been taken to the hospital for differing reasons.
Millie Radford, 24, who is the seventh Radford child, shared on Instagram that her son Chester, four, was in hospital having an operation to improve his hearing and speech, as she uploaded a photo of him prior to surgery wearing a surgical gown decorated with multi-coloured stars. In the comment section, fans sent their best wishes, with one typing: "Sending all my love and hugs to you all."
Just hours later on Monday, Millie's younger sister Katie, 22, gave an emotional update on her baby son Ronnie, who has been continuously unwell this past year. Back in July, Katie begged for help as the little boy had become poorly with a mystery illness that doctors could not diagnose.
In her latest post shared on her Instagram story, Katie uploaded a photo of Ronnie fast asleep with painful-looking red spots underneath his lip and wrote: "Got the worst mum guilt at the moment. My poor boy is still so poorly and now with something else.
She added: "When does this poor boy get a break? Definitely lots of presents and treats when he's all better."
Chloe Radford, 29, then revealed her youngest child, Bodhi, who was born in April, had broken out in a nasty-looking rash. She shared a photo of the baby boy on her Instagram and typed: "I had a feeling Bodhi would have a reaction to egg and he did. In minutes, he was coming up with red blotches."
The second-oldest Radford daughter added that Bodhi had now been referred to the doctors for a full allergy test, as she admitted he was "keeping them on their toes."
When Bodhi was born, Chloe shared that she had been in the hospital practically all day before he was born, but had actually been pushing for only nine minutes.
Detailing the "brutal" contractions, Chloe admitted: "The contractions - wow, wow, wow, wow - those contractions were brutal, absolutely brutal. It felt like they were every minute; they really ramped up so fast. I said to the midwife, 'As soon as I am able to have the epidural, can I please have it?' Because I knew things were moving fast, I just wanted to make sure that they were there, ready to go with the epidural. But I was progressing so quickly, it turns out I didn't have time to have the epidural."
