A55 traffic LIVE: Car bursts into flames sparking major delays as drivers stopped

The A55 is seeing delays after a car burst into flames on the slip road. Traffic was stopped after the blaze broke out on the eastbound carriageway in Wales.

Traffic Wales previously said: "Warning - Vehicle Fire. A55 Eastbound J29 Rhuallt off slip. Traffic Officers and Fire Service en route." They then added: "Fire service are now on scene. Traffic is currently on stop. Heavy congestion in the area."

A picture shows the vehicle on fire with smoke billowing from the scene at Rhuallt. One lane and the slip road remain shut.
