Liverpool have already made a flying start to the summer window, with Arne Slot welcoming four new players to his squad. The Reds kicked off by signing Jeremie Frimpong before landing Florian Wirtz for a club-record transfer fee and Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth. They have also brought in young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Hungarian side Puskas Akademia.
More players will almost certainly arrive on Merseyside between now and the start of the new Premier League season. A handful of big names have been linked with moves to Anfield with the club said to be eyeing additional reinforcements. Liverpool could also wave goodbye to some of their existing stars to make room for new signings.
Express Sport takes you through what Slot wants to hear in his next meeting with Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards...
Liverpool strike Guehi dealMarc Guehi has been linked with a big move away from Crystal Palace ahead of next season with Liverpool said to be keen admirers. They are reportedly weighing up a move for the England international to strengthen their back line.
He would be an upgrade on Jarell Quansah, who is thought to be nearing a permanent move to Bayer Leverkusen. That move will see Liverpool receive a £34million fee, which could be reinvested into securing Guehi's signature.
Palace are demanding around £50m to part ways with their star defender, according to the Daily Mail. Hearing that a deal has been agreed with the Eagles would certainly be music to Slot's ears.

Liverpool have also been tipped to make a move for Viktor Gyokeres, who is widely expected to join a top club this summer. He is thought to be livid with Sporting for going back on their gentleman's agreement to allow him to leave for a reduced price.
The forward was reportedly promised that he could find a new club for around £59m despite having a release clause worth £84m. However, it is claimed that Sporting are now seeking £67m in exchange for his signature.
This would be a bargain for Liverpool, who are in the market for a new striker with Darwin Nunez set to leave Anfield. Gyokeres would be the ideal replacement, having scored 39 league goals from just 31 starts in the season just gone.
Huge profit made on ElliottHarvey Elliott has made it clear that he wants to play regular football, whether that is at Liverpool or elsewhere. He is currently ripping it up for England under-21s, having scored a brace in their Euros semi-final victory over the Netherlands.
His form is thought to be attracting interest from several Premier League clubs and the Reds are reportedly willing to cash in. According to The Athletic, they have slapped a £40m price tag on Elliott and will refuse to sell him for anything less.
This would see Liverpool make a killing on the nominal fee they paid to sign him from Fulham back in 2021. Following a tribunal, they were ordered to shell out £1.5m in compensation as well as £2.8m in performance-related bonuses.
If a buyer can be found, the Reds would either be able to funnel that money into their pursuit of Gyokeres or simply bank it as profit.
