Soap actor Jack P Shepherd and his partner Hanni Treweek have officially tied the knot. The first photos from their special day have emerged, capturing the moment they became husband and wife at Manchester Cathedral.
The Coronation Street star, 37, who plays David Platt, was snapped looking suave in a suit, standing next to his newlywed wife Hanni, 36, just after they exchanged vows and said 'I do' in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by loved ones. The pictures reveal the couple both donned white for their big day. Jack looked stylish in an off-white suit jacket layered over a black waistcoat and white shirt, paired with black trousers and a black bow tie. Hanni, on the other hand, was breathtaking in a long white dress featuring a full skirt and an impressively long train. Her gown boasted a lace, off-the-shoulder top with long sleeves, reports the Mirror. She completed her bridal look with a lengthy veil, secured in place with a tiara. The newlyweds shared a romantic kiss on the steps of Manchester Cathedral, as guests showered the pair with confetti.
Jack proposed to Hanni last year during a romantic safari trip in Tanzania, marking the beginning of their journey from former soap colleagues to life partners.
The soap star admitted that his stint on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year was a financial move to fund their extravagant wedding, although clinching the ITV reality show title was an unexpected bonus.
In the run-up to their nuptials, the couple has been sharing sneak peeks of their wedding preparations, enlisting the expertise of the Taylor Lynn Corporation for event planning. Hanni took to Instagram to post highlights from their journey, including choosing her wedding gown and selecting the wine for the big day.
She disclosed details such as how they "built our guest list in this cosy little cabin".

When the wedding was just four weeks away, Hanni expressed her whirlwind of emotions in her post, writing: "Here's to four weeks of making special memories, feeling excited, nervous, overwhelmed, emotional, in love and everything else that comes with being a bride". Her fiance Jack chimed in with enthusiasm, commenting: "It's gonna be EPIC!"
Jack also shed light on their guest list during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, where he was asked if his Celebrity Big Brother housemates would be invited. He revealed: "I don't think so. I've only known them three weeks and have a guest list a mile long."
The couple's romance sparked not on the set of Coronation Street, where they first met when Hanni was acting and later as a storyline writer, but at a mutual friend's wedding where they reconnected.
As reported by the Daily Star, Jack reminisced: "We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it."
Their romance blossomed later that year when they unexpectedly crossed paths at a supermarket. Jack humorously recounted the awkwardness of their encounter, while Hanni fretted over her looks.
Unfazed, Jack was utterly charmed, confessing: "I actually thought she looked fit I just saw the girl I fancy wearing Lycra! We quickly went on our first date and we just clicked."
