Mike Tindall has made a rare admission on social media after he reshared an old picture of his wife, Zara, and Princess Eugenie posing for a special occasion. The former England rugby union star took to his Instagram stories to share a photo of the two royals that he originally posted in June 2022, when the Royal Family attended the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral amid the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Zara and Eugenie were both dressed in bright colours, wearing bright fuchsia and orange for the occasion. At the time, Mike shared a picture of the two women smiling at the camera, and compared them to Starbursts, revealing that his favourite ones are the pink and the orange ones. He captioned the post: "When you combine your favourite Starbursts!! 2 world-class ladies!! #starburst #platinumjubilee."
At the time, fans went into a frenzy over Mike's post, with one writing: "Love this. Strong colours! Xxx"
Another one said: "Loved those 2 dresses and their bubbly personalities."
A third one added: "If you can't laugh at & with your own, what a sadder world it would be ! Stay funny."
A fourth one commented: "They both are stunning candies!!"
After he uploaded the old post to his stories, Mike admitted: "Completely forgot about this photo!!!"
Mike and Zara made headlines for their matching looks during the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The ex-rugby union player would often match his tie to his wife's outfit colour, while he would also upload pictures of himself wearing her fascinators.
