Police called to 'rape' at maternity hospital as chilling sex attacks figures emerge

NHS sites across Scotland reportedly saw police officers responding to 276 reports of sexual assaults and 12 reported rapes between 2019 and July 2024.

Among the reported incidents were an alleged "rape" at Princess Royal Maternity Hospital on Alexandra Parade and a reported assault at the Royal Hospital for Children in Govan.
