If your mattress has seen better days, now might be the perfect time for an upgrade. Sleep brand Simba has just launched its autumn sale, with up to 25% off mattresses. This means savings of as much as £500 on some of its top-rated designs. Plus, all Simba mattresses come with a 200-night trial and a 10-year guarantee, so customers can try them at home and return them if they're not the right fit.
All of the mattresses in Simba's best-seller range are discounted, with the Hybrid Ultra seeing some of the biggest discounts. The Hybrid Ultra King Size, for example, is discounted by more than £500. However, even with the discount, you'll still be paying £1,999.20 for a king-size or £1,793.22.
If you want some of the same effects as the Hybrid Ultra but at a more affordable price, the Hybrid mattress is a good place to start. Plus, it's discounted by almost 20%. It's a couple of steps down from the Ultra, but still has the same mix of memory foam and supportive coils to ensure comfort.
The Hybrid, which currently starts from around £525 in the sale, combines five layers of support designed to contour the body. Simba also includes a layer of specially designed foam, which the brand claims has temperature-regulating properties to keep people cool while they sleep (which can be a common complaint among those who find memory foam too hot).
One satisfied reviewer wrote: "So comfortable. I had a bad back before, but I don't now!" Another user added: "Firmer than what I expected, but comfortable and much cooler than my old Emma memory foam mattress. I haven't seen a noticeable change in my quality of sleep, but my husband has!"
However, some sleepers have complained that the five layers feel a little too firm. One review said, "It is much firmer than I expected and has very little give in the cushioning to the extent that I don't really feel the benefits of the springs."
However, most feedback suggests it suits a wide range of sleepers, particularly those who like a medium-firm feel.
If you do have a little more cash to splash, the Hybrid Ultra Mattress is a luxurious take on the Hybrid, with nine layers and a depth of 34cm. Usually priced at £2,499, it's now down to around £1,999.20 in the sale, a saving of £500.
Express Affiliates and Shopping Editor Aimee Robinson has been sleeping on a Simba Hybrid Ultra since 2023 and says it has helped with her lower back and shoulder pain. She added: "The mattress is firm enough to offer excellent ergonomic support while still being comfortable enough to sink into each night."
