VISAKHAPATNAM: A man killed his brother-in-law and another person with a trident (trishul) after a minor argument over a petty issue at Chintapalle Camp locality under GK Veedhi mandal in ASR district on Sunday night.
The deceased have been identified as Kimudu Krishna and his brother Kimudu Raju. The accused has been named as Gennu.
According to reports, Gennu married Krishna’s sister a few years ago.
When Gennu was assaulting his wife over a petty matter, Krishna, Raju and one more person entered into an argument with Gennu, which escalated into a fight between Gennu and the trio.
In a fit of rage, the inebriated Gennu murdered Krishna and Raju by stabbing them with the trident and causing injuries to another person.
The GK Veedhi police visited the crime spot and they have shifted the bodies to government hospital for post-mortem.
A case has been registered and the investigation is on to nab the accused Gennu.
