WWE Evolution 2025 brings an end to an exciting night with an absolutely brilliant main event match between IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley . SKY, who is the current Women's World Champion, after she won it against none other than Ripley herself, this is a night to see if IYO can keep the belt or Mami is able to snatch it back for herself. The two women give the fans an incredible show, but the finale comes with an unimaginable twist that had everyone gaping at the scene.
Not Rhea Ripley or IYO SKY, Naomi is the new Women's World Champio
Regarded as one of the most dominant superstars of the Women’s roster, and rightly so, Rhea Ripley was a favorite to win the title back from IYO SKY from the very beginning. She had become the Women’s World Champion by defeating Liv Morgan at the Netflix Premiere of Monday Night RAW, but lost the title to IYO SKY on RAW after the Elimination Chamber, right before WrestleMania. While Mami was not able to defeat SKY so far in her career, this night seemed like things were about to change.
The night of redemption, and taking back what was once hers began with both women giving it their absolute best, as fans were screaming both their names in awe. Ripley had the win, had it not been for the referee getting knocked out by Sky. After a brutal showdown all throughout the arena, things seemed to have taken a turn, and for a moment, IYO was looking to retain her title, but her opponent kicked out at the last moment, making things complicated.
But it all turned to absolute mayhem when Naomi rushed in as both Ripley and SKY lay broken and battered inside the ring with her Money in the Bank briefcase. She cashed in on her MITB win, threw Mami out of the ring, and pinned Sky to become the new Women's World Champion, shocking everyone in the crowd.
What a way to end the night, as WWE Evolution 2025 comes to a close in a spectacular fashion.
